Hello sisters and brothers of pipe.
Finally it has arrived. From Saint Genis des Fontaines, Languedoc-Rousillon (a splendid place with superb wines, btw), a long journey behind, after 3 weeks travelling with different logistics, it has arrived to Berlin. Packaged with lot of love, the pipe represent the best of what the homo sapiens have been done on his history: A pipe made in Cherrywood.
The begin of a new era for all pipesmokers in this planet. The founder had a name: Eugène-Léon Ropp (1830-1907). R.i.p. my friend. Long life the Cherrywood.
Viva la France!!!
Viva la Liberté, Égalité et Fratenité!
He was brilliant. And I’m very happy with that.
Peace and love from Berlin for now. P

This morning, I’m smoking the Ferrari Testarossa under my pipes. This pipe was my birthday gift of 2015 and was buyed as new, by a friend of mine, Simone, from his shop in Rimini, Italy. I’m very impressed because the sandlast of this Dunhill pipe is very unusual. The pipe is not marked as “Ring Grain”, which you can appreciate here and here. Anyway, made in 2001 as Shell Briar, very unusual.
The first time I smoked this pipe, was in a meeting with other pipe brothers in Hamburg, with some McClelland Christmas Cheer 2014. It was broked with a Virginia de luxe, so, I still smoke this sporty smoking machine only with Virginia. I this case some McClelland Bulk: 2010 – Classic Virginia.
Well, have a look to this pictures to make you an idea how lucky I am. From Berlin with love, p
Tonight I’m smoking a huge Dunhill with a deep sandblast, birdeyes on the side and in straight grain in the middle. This machine is now smoked with some Peterson’s Irish Flake. Amazing sweetness with full strenght. Almost a dark flake with 33.3% of Virginia, 33.3% of Burley and 33.3% of dark fired kentucky. Perfect suitable after a good dinner with a red wine. Enjoy your time and think positive. From Berlin with love. P
